My name is Olga . and welcome to my website.  I was born and raised in the very beautiful city of Saint Petersburg, Russia until I immigrated to San Jose, California in 2004.   I have always had an interest in the artistic side of life.  Even as a young girl I was taking art classes and always enjoyed all things art.  I studied criminal justice at the University before coming to America, but I was still always involved in drawing and painting.

 

I really enjoy how everything in life can be seen through an artist’s lens.  You can take a piece of cork found on the beach and turn it into a memorial decoration.

 

Now in San Jose, I devote some time as an active member of a local group that holds art exhibitions and shows.  My real focus though has been on making colorful, broken glass mosaics which I love.   The colors are vibrant and  people tell me I have a real talent for it.  The glass plays well with light and I felt inspired by the story each of my works of art can tell.
